How to become a student at Skjeberg Folk High School:
1: Apply for the school on the regular application form (you find it under the «Send application» button on the top of this page). Here you also apply for the main course you like to join.
2: If you are accepted this will be as a «letter of acceptance». Here are all details the authorities need from our school. And you have to put this along when you start the visa-process to get the official «study permit» from the «Directorate of foregn affairs» (UDI).
3: Then: Find all information about how to apply for the “study permit” from the link below under the chapter for «Folk High Schools»
https://www.udi.no/en/want-to-apply/studies/studietillatelse/?c=usa#undefined
4: As a part of this you have to pre-pay the full school fee (NOK 150.000 / 2025-26) that includes room, food, teaching and journeys inland and abroad the whole year (not holydays).
5: When the payment is confirmed, you can take the final steps to get the study permit like the guide (see the link) over tells you.
